Privacy Policy

Oshi Runner is operated by Tsukasa Adachi, a sole proprietor in Japan ("we"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. What we collect

We do not collect more than we need, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
2. How we use it
- To provide the service you requested (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- To keep accounting and tax records required by Japanese law (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and defend against chargebacks (legitimate interest).
- To send you order updates. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
3. Who we share it with
- Stripe, for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Carriers such as Japan Post, and customs authorities in Japan and your country: your name, address, phone number and the declared contents of the parcel. For parcels to the United States we also pass the declared value to the duty prepayment provider Japan Post requires.
- Service providers we use to run the business, including our form, email, Discord and document tools. Each acts under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never publish your address or full name. Photographs posted in our Discord or on this website are anonymised.
4. International transfers
We are located in Japan and your data is processed here. Japan is recognised by the European Commission and by the United Kingdom as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Data shared with Stripe and with carriers may be processed in other countries under their own safeguards.
5. Retention
- Order records, receipts and invoices: 7 years, as required by Japanese tax law.
- Messages and request data for orders that did not proceed: deleted within 12 months.
- Analytics data: aggregated and not tied to you.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing, by emailing hello@oshirunner.com. We answer within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Security
Card data never touches our systems. Order data is stored in access-controlled tools protected with two-factor authentication. Only the operator has access.
8. Children
This service is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced on this website and in our Discord.
